Design and Multi-Objective Optimization of a Composite Cage Rotor Bearingless Induction Motor

To improve the quality of starting torque and suspension force, a composite cage rotor bearingless induction motor (CCR-BIM) is designed, which adopts structure that combines an inner outer rotor. First, overall CCR-BIM specially designed analyzed for principle, mathematical model force deduced. Second, initial structural parameters are determined, qualities, such as quality, compared between proposed BIM using finite element (FEM). Third, based on response surface (RSM), multi-objective improved NSGA-II constructed, three optimization objectives torque, pulsation optimized. Finally, results experimental setup prove increases by 6.98%, 5.45%, decreases 18.54%. The effectiveness correctness strategy verified.
